Why I hate Microsoft

I just dialed into a customer’s computer with Copilot to install pdf writing software. I tried printing a web page in Internet Explorer 7 and instead I got 30 pages of HTML. Microsoft’s support site had info on fixing this problem for IE4 and nothing else. After some googling, it turns out the fix was to re-enable IE as the default browser or uninstall AOL. Seriously guys, what kind of bug is this. It is crap like this that drives me away from Windows. Gahh I cannot stand it at all. Dealing with issues such as that are such a total waste of time. My Mac has problems from time to time as well, but nothing like that.

    Why would you use IE?

No other option on this client’s machine. If I could have I would have switched them over to Firefox.
